Fishing fly tackle is the equipment used by fly anglers for fishing.
Fly fishing tackle includes fly rod, fly line, fly reel, terminal tackle and accessories.
- Fly rod is a special type of fishing rod designed to cast fly line and artificial flies.
- Fly line is a specialised form of fishing line that is designed of easy casting the line with the fly rod.
- Fly reel is a specialised designed for holding and supplying fly line during fishing when pull-back or release is necessary.
- Terminal tackle is used to connect the fly line to the artificial fly.
- Accessories consist of tools, gadgets, clothing and apparel used by the fly angler for maintenance and preparation of tackle, dealing the the fish being caught as well as personal comfort and safety while fly fishing. Includes fly boxes used to store and carry artificial flies.
Fishing is a fun and enjoyable activity of catching fish. There are many methods of catching fish. Fish are normally caught in ponds, rivers, streams and sea. People using all different techniques for fishing, such as; Trapping, Spearfishing, Netfishing, Flyfishing and so on.
1. Trapping Fishing
A fish trap is a trap used for catching fish. A fish trap can be made from steel wire, chicken wire. A fish trap is the meshed-wrap around the frame. When the fish swim inside through the opening of the frame and it cannot get out, as the chicken wire bends back into its original narrowness at the opening, therefore it become one way traffic only for as long as the fish going in and can not coming out.

2. Spear Fishing
Spear fishing is an ancient method of fishing. Spear fishing usually spearing fish with shapened sticks form rivers or streams during early civillizations time. But modern and more effective spear fishing are using advanced techniques. The spearfishers use modern equipments and dive into water and catching fish with spears.

3. Net Fishing
Net fishing is using a net made of meshes formed by knotting with a relatively thin thread, most fishing nets are made of artificial polyamides thread such as nylon. Wool and silk are also in used.
4. Fly Fishing
Fly fishing is a distinct and ancient fishing method and was a method for catching trout and salmon. As today people go fly fishing for a wide variety of species such as carp, panfish, greyling, pike, bass as well as marine species as tarpon, snook, bonefish and redfish.
